Doctor, nurses, and business people all in the same room taking part in a unique camp at Viterbo University this week.
It’s called Clown Camp.
For some, the camp is strictly about joking around while for others it is about personal growth.
Attendees can take a number of classes ranging from marketing and publicity to how to keep kids’ attention.
For many, it’s more than a camp on how to get laughs.
"We have people. We have doctors, we have business professionals, nurses," said Clown Camp Co-Director Brenda Ahern. "They tell us they come here not only to learn communications skills….it’s not just being a clown, it’s how to interact with people."
This is the 38th annual camp in La Crosse.
