Roofer accused of killing coworker with a saw in Pierce County

Pierce County (WQOW) – A man is dead, and another is behind bars, after what police are calling a homicide in Pierce County.

According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, police were called to rural River Falls for an injured roofer on Monday around 4:30 p.m.

When police arrived they found the roofer with severe cuts to his neck and face. 

Israel Valles-Flores, 37, from St. Louis, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say fellow roofer, Maguel A. Nabarro, 24, also from St. Louis is who they believe caused the injuries with a circular saw. He was taken into custody for suspicion of intentional homicide and booked into the Pierce County Jail.
