While construction continues at Luther High School, students returned to find some of the new classrooms complete.
Those include new science rooms where students will have better space for experiments.
The school also received several gifts in the trade rooms for their shop classes. Students can now complete some college classes in the shop classes as a partnership with Western Technical College was reached, giving students more opportunities to speed up their education.
"Even if you took a two year course there, you could already start going out making $40,000, $50,000 a year," Shop Instructor Dan Larson said. "That’s big versus being $20,000, $40,000, $50,000 or $100,000 in debt."
Luther High School’s construction could be finished in the next couple weeks. The school will then hold a dedication ceremony.
