Bangor, Wis. (WXOW) The Bangor boys basketball team formed a new identity this year.
That comes after losing nine seniors, three of who averaged in double-digits in scoring, and transitioning to a new head coach in Jacob Pederson.
The Cardinals still have a large senior presence on their team, however they are more inexperienced than in years past.
Because of that, players didn’t feel the same pressure that they have in the past to win every game and return to the state tournament.
But to their satisfaction, this team has come together and own an 11-1 record at the mid-way point and they’re ranked 3rd in the state in division 5.
