LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – The La Crosse Concert Band continues a 102-year tradition.
The band has played free concerts since 1917. They began performing in Riverside Park in 1930 when crews completed the bandstand.
Abbie Leithold – Gerzema says the Concert Band begins the season in Riverside Park with a performance called, “Made in America.” You can hear that Wednesday, June 12. They’ll play each Wednesday night through July 31 with the exception of Riverfest week.
