LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – If you live in La Crosse, the city is looking for your input.

La Crosse wants its residents to make choices about improvement priorities made possible through the annual $1M Federal Community Development Block Grant.

Every five years, the city looks to the community to help create a new five year plan. All you need to do is fill out a survey that takes no more than ten minutes.

“New streets or new sidewalks, parks, libraries. All the things that make up a community. We know all of those are important but of course one point one million doesn’t go too far so we really need the citizens to help us prioritize,” Community Development Administrator Caroline Gregerson said.

Picking priorities from potentially 50,000 ideas, the city wants to hear your opinion by October 31st.

There is an added bonus, if you fill out the survey, it puts you in the running to win a $50 gift card.

The plan will be put into action next year.
