La Crosse, WI (WXOW) – A trio of seasonal treats dress up any holiday dinner table. Tina Peterson from the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin shared the fun, festive recipes on Daybreak.
Holiday Cheese Ball Wreath
Peterson said, “Here is you holiday table centerpiece – showstopper! Pairing a crumbly and creamy Wisconsin aged cheddar with a smooth and creamy cream cheese base is the foundation to excellence. Add you seasonings and delight your guests!”
Zesty Lemon and Dill Havarti Butter
“Stir this cheesy butter into steamed veggies or cooked pasta; toss it with boiled new potatoes; spread it on flaky biscuits or excite seafood dishes,” said Peterson.
Garlic and Herb Cheese Roll-Ups
“The Pine River Garlic and Herb Cold Pack cheese spread won the Gold Medal in the United States Championship Cheese Contest and 2nd Place in the 2014 World Championship Cheese Contest,” Peterson said. “It features Wisconsin cheddar blended with garlic, parsley, oregano and chives.”
