La Crosse, WI (WXOW) – If the weather isn’t providing enough of a Midwest holiday feel, the Pump House sets the mood with its holiday offering. A seasonal comedy, Miracle on Christmas Lake shows for one weekend only.

Directed by Jonathan Lamb, the story follows a soap opera star (Matthew Springer) who leaves the confines of New York City for the winter wonderland of small-town Minnesota. After inheriting a community theatre, it’s up to the big name celebrity and a colorful cast to save the town’s Christmas production. And they’ve got just one day to do it.

Ripe with references to tater-tot hot-dish, lutefisk and lefse, Miracle on Christmas Lake is written by Jessica Lind Peterson of the Yellow Tree Theatre Company in Osseo, MN. Performances at The Pump House run Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 13-15, at 7:30 pm with a 2 pm matinee on Sunday, Dec. 16.

Tickets are available at the door or online at ThePumpHouse.org.
