La Crosse, WI (WXOW) – La Crosse Community Theatre is calling all writers, directors and actors who’d like to see a play go from creation to curtain in just the span of a single day. The 24 Hour Project is part of LCT’s push for more adult-education opportunities.

Here’s how it works: following a kickoff party on Friday, February 23, writers will have all night to come up with a 10 minute stage play based on a provided theme. On the morning of Feb. 24, directors will get the script and cast the various roles. Rehearsals will take place all day until showtime that evening at 7 pm. The public is encouraged to attend. Tickets are pay-what-you-can at the door.

Interested? Register by calling the LCT box office at (608) 784-9292 or sign up online at lacrossecommunitytheatre.org by Friday, Feb. 15. A $20 registration fee covers the cost of providing the class and all of the meals throughout the day.
