Medical Monday: Minutes in Motion

(WXOW) – Get rewarded for getting active this spring! There’s still time to sign up for Gundersen’s free fitness challenge, Minutes in Motion.

The activity challenge begins on April 1, and as of Monday morning more than 1,700 have already committed to tracking their movement over the course of six weeks. Prizes are given weekly for those who meet the goal of at least 30 minutes a day (210 minutes/week), with a grand prize available for those who hit the 1,260 minute mark over the course of the challenge.

Once again this year, they’re encouraging schools to get involved. A special classroom category provides prizes to teachers who encourage their students to get moving.

To sign up as an individual or group, visit the Minutes in Motion website. You do not have to be a Gundersen client to participate.
