La Crosse, WI (WXOW) – Organizers of the 11th Earth Fair say their mission is to keep the idea of Earth Day going all year.

The event on Sunday, April 28 will feature a number of family-friendly activities including “green” vendors, animal interactions and the “Future Iron Chef Competition.” It runs from 11 am to 5 pm at Myrick Park.

Elsewhere around town, the event also sees the return of a Recycling Fair from 10 am to 3 pm Sunday at Emerson Elementary School. For a $10 flat fee, anyone can bring in their old TVs, monitors and other e-waste as well as car seats and documents for proper disposal.
