Lessons learned from Project Character

(WXOW) – There’s no pop quiz or final exam, but we are reviewing the curriculum of the six-week Project Character challenge.

Marvin Wanders with the Character Lives organization stopped by Daybreak to reflect on the weekly challenges issued via text and on WXOW to help build the “soft skills” that make up the idea of character. The weekly prompts urged everyone to practice patience, kindness, forgiveness and more. Wanders discussed how the challenges may have sounded simple, but weren’t always easy to accomplish.

Though the current challenge has ended, Character Lives will continue the mission of creating stronger leaders in the community. You can check them out online or text 31996 for more information.
