Onalaska, WI (WXOW) – Couleecap wants local golfers to tee-off on homelessness with its inaugural golf outing. The aptly-titled “Putting an End to Homelessness” seeks participants and sponsors for Monday, June 17.

The outing at the La Crosse Country Club will benefit Couleecap programs that provide resources and education for those in danger of becoming homeless. Due to a loss of funding, Couleecap’s Becky Koske said they’re seeking new ways to maintain services to help people avoid a crisis in their lives.

Individuals can register for $125 ($500/team), which includes the 18-hole scramble at the La Crosse Country Club, a lunch-on-the-go before the round and dinner to follow. Those interested in attending only the dinner can do so for $40. You can register online at Couleecap’s website.

Couleecap is still seeking sponsors for the event. Levels range from a $200 hole sponsorship to $1,500 “Gold Level” sponsor. Contact Shelly Teadt by June 1 to become a sponsor by emailing Shelly.Teadt@couleecap.org or calling 608-424-8745.
