West Salem, WI (WXOW) – The turn of the calendar means the return of a local favorite. June Dairy Days takes over West Salem for the 50th time this weekend.

A celebration for all ages marking the start of Dairy Month features music, food and fun from May 31 to June 2. A kickoff lunch Friday at Westview Inn gets things started. Admission for the lunch is $8. Organizers promise the annual fireworks display will be something special Friday night.

Saturday’s events include the Parade at noon, the JDD 5K Run/Walk, the Poker Run and continued entertainment in the Gazebo. Music rocks and rolls into Sunday, which will also see the Car Show and June Dairy Days Classique Bike Tour.

A full schedule of events is available online at JuneDairyDays.com.
