LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – If you’re not celebrating Valentine’s Day, you might be nursing a broken heart.

You may not know that it is an actual medical condition.

It’s called cardiomyopathy, or broken heart syndrome.

Christie Harris of Gundersen Health System shares what is known about the link between the brain and heart. She also discusses how the effects of cardiomyopathy can be reversed.
