Flu Season at its peak in Wisconsin, 50 cases in La Crosse

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – It may be Spring, but that doesn’t mean flu season is over.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, flu activity has recently peaked in the state and remains high across the country.

In La Crosse County, 50 people have been hospitalized with flu related symptoms including five children and 39 people over the age of 50.

Symptoms include fever, chills, a dry cough and body aches.
