608 Brew Master Phil Humphrey

608 Brewing Company owner and head brewer Phil Humphrey says they will focus largely on IPA beers, and while they may be starting small, they hope to grow quickly.

“It’s a seven-barrel system, so we could probably stretch it a little farther, kind of pushing it up to 8 barrels now, once I got more familiar with the equipment. That’s about two hundred and forty gallons,” explained Humphrey.

As for their grand opening, the event plans to kick off at 4 pm Friday, August 10th with a little something for everyone, including food, entertainment, and of course, beer.

“We’ll have Cloudy’s food truck, food cart I think. Also and LaCrossome apparel will have a pop-up shop because we used them for our apparel and we have a caricature artist,” said Humphrey.
