Four women arrested in meth sting in Arcadia

ARCADIA, Wis. (WXOW) – Four women face drug related charges after their arrests Monday in Arcadia.

Trempealeau County Sheriff Richard Anderson said one of the women, Nicole L. McConnell, 38, of Taylor, was arrested after she tried to sell methamphetamine to an undercover sheriff’s investigator.

Following her arrest, officers found nearby a vehicle with three women inside. The department’s drug dog, K-9 Luke, alerted to drugs in the vehicle. A search turned up about 50 grams of meth. The three women, all from Bangor, were then arrested. They are Denise A. Oliver, 47, Sandra K. Levit, 50, and Cynthia A. Guynes, 41.

As investigators worked the case, more information led a search warrant for a room at the Onalaska Inn where more meth was found.

Sheriff Anderson said the women are in the Trempealeau County Jail.
