La Crosse Trick-or-Treating kicked off at 4 pm on Halloween.

Ghosts and ghouls run amuck all over town, and a variety of characters took to the streets to hunt down some treats.

Many houses could be found with lights lit outside and hands full of candy just within waiting for visitors to arrive.

Recommended Trick-or-Treat hours in the city of La Crosse were 4 pm to 8 pm.
