La Crosse, Wis. (WXOW) – The Bethany St. Joseph Corporation of La Crosse offers a variety of living solutions for older adults and people with health concerns, and on Sunday their Shelby Terrace facility celebrated 30 years.

They commemorate the assisted living apartment’s time in La Crosse with the people they serve.

The years brought various changes to the facility. Through it all, they kept their mission of helping people live more independent lives.

They offer a selection of services on an à la carte basis, meaning tenants choose what assistance they receive.

“We are here to help if need be, but they are still able to do stuff on their own,” Tenant Care Assistant at Shelby Terrace Katelyn Creger says.

“Everybody is friendly, you do things together, you go for walks together, you go on outings in the community,” Jane Latshaw, Shelby Terrace tenant, elaborates.

“It’s a place where if you need a little help this is the place to be.”

There are currently units available for rent at Shelby Terrace. For more information contact the Bethany St. Joseph Corporation at (608) 788-5700 or find them online.
