La Crosse Center Board moves ahead with two expansion concepts

La Crosse, Wis. (WXOW) – The La Crosse Center Board decided to move ahead with not one, but two different design concepts for their planned expansion.

One of two public input sessions took place in November. Wednesday, instead of recommending one of either their “North” or “West” concepts, they voted to go to the council in January with both.

Following another public input session scheduled for December 20, the board will meet again and vote on which design they will recommend to the common council.

“There’s a couple of concepts there that still need a lot more fleshing out,” La Crosse Center Director Art Fahey said. “We got some good feedback from a lot of different directions and we’re looking for more of that, because that kind of gives direction of where we’re going to be going as the board moves forward with this.”
