Ho-Chunk Nation donates to All Abilities Trane Park

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – Funding for the new All Abilities Trane Park in La Crosse moved forward Thursday with a community donation.

The All Abilities Trane Park Consortium announced that the Ho-Chunk Nation donated $2,000 to the project.

Construction of the 2.6 acre park happened in October. The consortium plans to open the park in July 2019.

The park is targeted toward those with cognitive, sensory, and physical challenges. It is meant to provide a place for everyone to play alongside each other and reach their highest potential.
