Barron Co. Sheriff: Someone knows something in Closs disappearance

BARRON, Wis. (WXOW) – Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said Friday that they are still pursuing leads in the now two-plus month old investigation into the disappearance of 13-year-old Jayme Closs.

She hasn’t been seen since October 14 at a family gathering. A 9-1-1 call brought deputies to the Closs family home early on October 15. There they found the bodies of James and Denise Closs shot to death. There was no sign of Jayme.

After an widespread search of the area, nothing indicating her whereabouts has been found.

He concluded his post by thanking people for their support and help in the case and to not give up hope Jayme will be found.
