La Crosse, Wis. (WXOW) – The US Department of Veteran Affairs awarded Logistics Health Incorporated three new contracts to provide medical disability exams.

Each of the three contracts is up to ten years long. In a typical year, LHI conducts more than 800,000 medical disability exams. CEO Anne Finch said the new contracts are a huge opportunity for the company and the veteran population they serve.

When you think of that population and the honor that we have to help them get the disability that they deserve, it’s really something we’re quite grateful to be part of,” Finch said.

Finch said LHI has had some form of this contract since 2011. She doesn’t expect that it will impact hiring numbers significantly, however she said typically they add more than 200 jobs each year and that will likely continue with their new contracts from the VA.
