La Crosse (WXOW)- Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald says 13-year-old Jayme Closs has been medically cleared after overnight observation. He said the reunification process was continuing Friday morning and that it would include Jayme being returned to her family.
Lacie Ketelhut, a trauma care coordinator, from Gundersen Health System spoke with News 19’s Andrea Albers about what Jayme’s medical recovery process might look like.
Ketelhut touched on the way care could be tailored to care for a young teen recovering from trauma and what role her family will play in that process. Listen in on that conversation by playing the attached video.
