(WQOW) – Support for Jayme Closs is not limited to Barron. People, businesses, schools and communities are all celebrating her homecoming.
In Menomonie, that homecoming had a nice ring to it.
UW-Stout Chancellor Bob Meyer ordered a celebratory peal of the James Huff Stout Bell at Bowman Hall on Friday.
He wrote, “Out thoughts and best wishes go out to Jayme.”
Meanwhile in Bruce, students all wore blue to celebrate Jayme’s return. You can see them in the photo below. Blue is Jayme’s favorite color.
The Minnesota DOT also is marking the occasion. They lit one of the bridges up in Minneapolis Friday night.
Tonight, the I-35W St. Anthony Falls bridge in Minneapolis is lit green to honor all the child recovery efforts made by community members, law enforcement, the media and Jayme Closs herself. pic.twitter.com/rnJnuLvMbq
