GOODVIEW, Minn. (WXOW) – Questions remain following the disappearance and recovery of a missing Goodview, Minnesota woman last week.
Goodview Police Chief Kent Russell said that Leigh Meska doesn’t remember what happened in the 36 hours she was gone.
Meska left her home for work in Rochester, but never arrived. She couldn’t be reached by cell phone. That prompted a large search of southeastern Minnesota by law enforcement.
She was found the next night in Rockford, Illinois after she called her family to tell them she was OK.
Meska told police she has no memory from the time she neared Rochester to the time she called her family.
Police believe she suffered from a medical issue.
