Tomah, WI – WXOW – State Senator Patrick Testin of the 24th District showed up for work at 8 a.m., at the Toro manufacturing plant in Tomah.

As part of his “On the Job” series, once a month Testin puts in a full day’s work at a company within his district.  On this February day, he was building a Groundmaster mower.

According to Testin, it helps highlight those employers looking for help while showing those looking for a job those available opportunities.

“It also gives me a better perspective on what we do down in Madison, how it impacts companies and individuals back home,” Testin added.

Testin also hopes that Governor Evers and the current administration will continue to support manufacturing tax credits as a way to grow manufacturing in the state.
