Milwaukee (WXOW) — Dariaz Higgins, the man accused of killing a woman and abducting her daughter has been arrested, Milwaukee police announced Wednesday.
Officers arrested Higgins just before 1:00 p.m. in Milwaukee according to police.
They say they’re still looking for 2-year-old Noelani Robinson.
Higgins was arrested along with another person whom police have not identified. The Amber Alert remains in effect, police said.
According to one report, police are investigating leads the child may be in either Minnesota or Michigan.
Milwaukee Police are still looking for a missing 2-year-old girl who is at the center of a statewide Amber Alert.
They say Noelani Robinson went missing Monday.
Authorities believe she is with suspect Dariaz Higgins, also known as Dariaz Lewis.
As of 4:30 Tuesday morning, Higgins was reportedly driving a black SUV of an unknown make/model with no license plate description given. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Authorities say if you see him or the child, call 911 immediately.
Late Tuesday afternoon, Milwaukee Police said that Higgins is wanted in connection with the shooting death of Sierra Robinson. Family members told WISN in Milwaukee that Robinson is Noelani’s mother.
Police also said that the FBI is involved in the case.
