In Wisconsin, due to the potential for severe weather Thursday, the National Weather Service and Ready Wisconsin moved the drill instead to the same times on Friday.
The tests are scheduled for 1:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.
In Minnesota, the National Weather Service in the Twin Cities said the drill is cancelled and won’t be rescheduled.
Portions of the state will still be dealing with the effects of a blizzard and snow storm that is moving through Minnesota on Thursday and Friday.
In conjunction with @ReadyWisconsin the NWS offices in Wisconsin will be postponing the statewide tornado drill until Friday, April 12th due to the threat for inclement weather on Thursday. As always we urge you to practice your tornado safety whenever you can. #wiwx pic.twitter.com/XJpXbUWVEo
