ONALASKA, Wis. (WXOW) – For the past several years St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Onalaska has been reminding people of the importance of Easter.

On Saturday, a reenactment held outside the church featured volunteers dressed as Roman soldiers guarding the tomb of Jesus.

The reenactment, that takes place from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., is designed to remind people about the importance of Easter, a holiday that many Christians consider to be the pinnacle of the Church year.
