I-90 ramp reopen following Tuesday crash

Sparta, WI (WXOW) – A two-vehicle crash closed the I-90 eastbound off-ramp near Highway 27 for a time Tuesday evening.

A release from the Monroe Co. Sheriff’s Dept. reports the crash happened around 5:10 pm Tuesday. Multiple witnesses said a Ford pickup truck failed to yield to a semi, pulling out in front of the larger vehicle. The semi hit the F-150 on the drivers side causing non-life-threatening injuries to two people in the truck. They were transported to a medical facility for treatment. The semi driver was not injured.

The exit ramp remained closed while emergency crews worked to clear the scene. Highway 27 southbound traffic was also temporarily delayed.
