GALESVILLE, Wis. (WXOW) – There were no reports of injuries, but there was some property damage in the wake of Saturday’s storms that moved through the area.

Some of the most visible damage was at Champions Riverside Resort by Galesville. Viewer Angie Picha LaFleur shared several pictures of the damage including trees that fell on campers.

LaFleur said the winds and downpour of rain came quickly. She said she and her family saw a tent roll down the road and an awning get blown around. Her husband took the children to the shelter after they saw the first tree get blown over.

As he did that, she, as a nurse, went to check on campers that trees fell onto. She found one man whose back was scraped up but was otherwise fine after a tree fell onto his pop-up camper.

She summed it up – “It was pretty scary.”
