VIROQUA, Wis. (WXOW) – The Vernon County Fair is drawing a big crowd to Viroqua.

Amusement rides and games, music, food and animals all make up the culture and history of Vernon County.

A horse pull is new this year. With all the attractions and hard work that goes into setting it up, it’s a good feeling to see people enjoy everything that’s offered.

“Makes us feel good. We do put a lot of hours in. There is 11 of us on the fair board. The board is run by an agriculture society, and we’re very proud of what goes on at the fair. We start right after this year’s fair for next year’s fair,” said fair treasurer Bill Marohl.

Over the course of the five days, the fair brings in upwards of 15,000 people.
