Name released of Onalaska man killed in West Allis stabbing

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (WXOW) – Police in West Allis are still looking for two people involved in the fatal stabbing of an Onalaska man Sunday morning.

Police were called to a location on S. 71st St. shortly before 2 a.m.

A witness said that 33-year-old Ryan Sorensen and two friends were approached by two strangers.  An argument broke out which led to the stabbing of Sorensen. Despite lifesaving efforts, Sorensen died a short time later.

Both the two strangers fled before police arrived. West Allis Police are looking for a man and a woman between 20-30. They rode off on mountain bikes.

Police did find this image from a nearby surveillance camera. They’re continuing to look for additional cameras in the neighborhood in their efforts to find the pair.

So far, no arrests have been made by West Allis Police.
