La Crosse, WI (WXOW) A second whistleblower has come forward in the impeachment inquiry surrounding President Trump.
ABC News reports that whistleblower claims to have first hand knowledge of President Trump’s phone with Ukraine’s president. As a result, House democrats are issuing new subpoenas.
As House democrats continue their investigation, we spoke with UW-La Crosse political analyst Tim Dale, Ph.D., about what impeachment is and how the process works.
The United States Constitution conveys in Article II, Section 4, “The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
Only two presidents have been impeached – Bill Clinton and Andrew Johnson. Neither was removed from office.
