LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) — Avoiding long lines at the airport can become a thing of the past for travelers by enrolling in TSA PreCheck.
The program allows travelers to expedite the screening program. There is no need to remove shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, belts, and laptops.
“I don’t travel a whole lot but being able to show up not have to take out all those special items for the TSA screening,” said Ian Turner, director for the La Crosse Airport. “It was nice, it made things a little bit easier, a little bit less stressful.”
Enrollment for the program costs $85. The cost covers a five-year membership with TSA PreCheck. PreCheck has more than 450 lanes at 200 airports across the country.
The La Crosse Airport will be holding an enrollment period next week (October 14-18) from 9:00 a.m. through noon and 1:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m.
60 spots still remain for the event. You can sign up and learn more about enrolling by visiting the link https://www.lseairport.com/content/tsa-screening.
