Vehicle flips into Juneau County creek, driver dies from injuries

LEMONWEIR TOWNSHIP (WKOW) —  A Mauston man is dead after a one-vehicle crash in Juneau County, according to the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office.

It happened on Thursday at about 6:30 p.m. on Cemetery Road west of Morrissey Road in Lemonweir.

The vehicle driven by Adam Clough, 44, left the roadway and hit a guardrail, overturning in a creek. He was the only person in the vehicle.

Emergency responders freed Clough from the vehicle and took him to Mile Bluff Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office and the Juneau County Medical Examiner’s Office.
