Man arrested in Trempealeau County on 12th OWI charge

WHITEHALL, Wis.  (WXOW) – Deputies from the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department arrest a 57-year-old Appleton man for driving while intoxicated.

Jerome J. Pomeroy, arrested Saturday evening around 6:30 p.m.

The report said deputies were dispatched to US Highway 53-121 near County Road W in the Village of Pigeon Falls. According to officials, Pomeroy admitted to being intoxicated and having hit two parked cars.

The arrest marked Pomeroy’s 12th OWI offense according to Trempealeau County. He was also arrested on charges of a probation hold and driving on a revoked license due to a previous OWI.
