Flood warnings out for area rivers

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Many rivers around Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa continue to be affected by rainfall runoff.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has posted flood warnings for a few locations in the region.

Mississippi River at McGregor- Minor flooding forecast. Warning in effect until Wednesday afternoon.

A reminder from the StormTracker 19 Forecast Team that if you live in a threatened area, be alert for high or rising water, and be ready to move to higher ground if necessary.

Also, don’t take vehicles into flooded areas. It only takes two feet of water to float most automobiles, including sport utility vehicles. Turn Around, Don`t Drown!
