The Loggers pounded out 27 hits and scored 11 runs in the first inning on their way to a 22-9 win over Thunder Bay in game one of a doubleheader Wednesday at The Lumberyard.
Five different Loggers had four hits each.
Mike Rothenberg went 4-4 with two runs batted in and a home run.
Armani Smith went 4-6 with a home run as well.
The Loggers improved to 17-9 in the second half and remain in a tight race for the North Division title.
