Holmen boys, Luther girls win Holmen Invite

The Holmen boys placed four runners in the top six to win the Holmen Invitational at Maple Grove in West Salem Thursday.

Quaid Handy led all runners with a time of 18:06.

Holmen’s Cameron Lemere was second at 18:16.

Lucas Lazarescu,  Bennett Clark and Tanner Groshek also placed in the top six for Holmen.

Mercedes Romo of Arcadia won the girls race with a time of 22:12.

Hannah Munson of Hillsboro was second followed by Elle Stussy of Holmen.
