Hilltoppers sweep, shut out Avalanche

Onalaska, Wisc. (WXOW)- The Onalaska Hilltoppers and the Avalanche squared off for the second time this season at the Omni Center.

This game started off with big defensive plays from both goaltenders. However, late in the first Onalaska/La Crosse got on the board when Mason Manglitz hit a one-timer past Jack Coleman. That opened the floodgates for a five-goal second period for the Hilltoppers.

Onalaska/La Crosse out shot the Avalanche 60-10 on the way to an 8-0 win.

The Hilltoppers had 3 players with 3 points, Mason Manglitz (2 goals,1 assist), Tommy Duren (1 goal, 2 assists), and Ryan Gargaro (3 assists).
