Manke hits big bucket to lead Bangor past Melrose-Mindoro

Bangor, Wisc. (WXOW)- The Bangor and Melrose-Mindoro match-up looked promising on paper and it sure lived up to expectations. The Cardinals are ranked 5th in the state in the latest Division 5 poll with just one loss on the year. The Mustangs entered with a 6-4 record.

Bangor had a one point lead as the game was winding down, when Bangor’s Grant Manke capitalized on an and-one basket to push the lead out to 65-63 which ended up being the final.

Manke led for Bangor with 15 points. Patrick Corcoran finished with 25 for Melrose-Mindoro.
