Melrose-Mindoro hands Blair-Taylor their first loss of the season

Melrose-Mindoro, Wisc. (WXOW)- A pair of perennial powers from the Dairyland conference went head to head on Friday evening. Melrose-Mindoro (8-5) hosted (13-0) Blair-Taylor.

The first half was dominated by three pointers from both teams, but the Mustangs were able to take a 45-33 lead at the half. They held that lead the entire second half finishing with a 77-57 victory over Blair-Taylor.

For the Mustangs, Connor Christopherson led with 26 points. Patrick Corcoran chipped in 17 points.

As for Blair-Taylor, Matthew Waldera led with 18 points.

The Mustangs improve to 9-5 overall, while the Wildcats drop to 13-1.
