Central keeps the Ark of Victory at home


Central and Logan met at UW-La Crosse for the inter-city rivalry on Friday night. Last season, the Red Raiders took the Ark of Victory back from the Rangers for the first time since 2011.

Prior to this game, Head Coach Tony Servais confirmed that Quarterback Johnny Davis would be playing after he sat out against Aquinas the previous week due to a foot strain.

Davis finished with the game completing 13 of 23 passes for 210 passing yards and 3 TD’s. One of the touchdowns was to Jordan Davis who finished with 3 completions for 40 yards. In addition, Steven Cross had two completions for 90 yards and 1 touchdown reception.

Central came away with the win 22-10 to keep the Ark of Victory at home for the second straight year.
