Onalaska dominates MVC Cross Country Championships

West Salem, Wis. (WXOW)  The Onalaska boys and girls made it a clean sweep at the MVC Cross Country Championships, winning both team titles.

On the boys side, Onalaska placed five runners in the top 16 led by Aidan Robinson, who took third overall.

Robinson’s time was 16:30.

Logan’s Zach Slevin won the individual title with a time of 15:55, which was 23 seconds faster than second place finisher Andrew Skemp of Aquinas.

For the girls, Kora Malecek crushed the rest of the field, winning with a time of 17:57.

That was 1:17 faster than the second place finisher, which just happened to be her sister Lydia.

AmaIia Malecek was third making it a huge day for the Malecek family.

Onalaska placed all seven of their runners on the top 11 to win the team title easily.

Central was second.
