Onalaska, Wis. (WXOW)  Six area athletes will take the courts at the wiaa state girls tennis tournament, starting Thursday.
Two of them know each other intimately.

Twin sisters Faith and Chloe Leithold qualified for State for the first time as a doubles duo.
The Onalaska seniors teamed up together this season for the first time and went 17-4 on the season.
They took a chance on each other and it’s paid off with a trip to State.

Of course, being siblings, you’re not always sure how you’re going to get along. I’m so grateful we have a good relationship. We didn’t have to worry about that because we already get along. It’s just like any other partner. We high-five in between. We don’t get mad at each other and that’s always a good thing,” said Chloe Leithold.
It’s really helpful because she went to State the past two years playing doubles. So it was really nice having an experienced player I can trust. That’s really awesome,” said Faith Leithold.

The WIAA State Tennis Tournament starts Thursday at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison.
