2nd day jump helps Tomah finish 7th at State

Verona, Wis. (WXOW) A big second day for the Tomah girls golf team allowed them to move up three spots and finish in seventh place at the WIAA Div. 1 Girls Golf Tournament at University Ridge in Verona.

Four of Tomah’s five players finished below 90, led by Brin Neumann’s 81.

MVC champ Sophie Pokela ended up with a second round 84.

Neumann and Pokela ended up tied for 26th in the individual standings with two-day totals of 171.

Tomah’s team total was 708.

Middelton took first with 651.

Arcadia’s Rylee Haines finished tied for 13th in Division 2 with a two-day total of 186.
