The Champions Riverside Bar and Grill looked just like a Packers Sunday with fans dressed in Green and Gold packing the room. However, it was even better as one of the Green Bay Packers was present. That is Safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.
Clinton-Dix was in Galesville helping raise money for the Gilbert Brown Foundation. The foundation hosts special events to raise funds for kids with cancer and other illnesses. He started off by signing autographs, taking pictures, and meeting fans. The afternoon finished up with a raffle.
That same passion Clinton-Dix shows on the field, he also exhibits when talking about this cause.
" The kids, that’s what it is about man," Clinton-Dix said. " One day the kids are going to run this organization, this town, this world and the kids are the most important thing I believe, so anytime I can impact a kid and be apart of their growing experience, you know I’m all in and happy to do it. Anything is possible. I just want to give these kids an opportunity. Just giving them hope and giving them a chance to be successful is all I ask for so in my time on earth. If I could change one kid’s life, my job on here is done."
Clinton-Dix also commented on the new addition of the rookie corners Josh Jackson and Jaire Alexander.
" They look really well," Clinton-Dix said. " They’ve been playing explosive, been playing fast. They got great eye control, but great balance. These kids are great man, and we are going to have some battles going on during training camp. It’s going to be fun "
